This is Halloween!! Grab those carving knives, stencils, pumpkin goop scoopers, and paper towels because it’s going to get messy!!!!
I found this cool polka dot pattern on Pinterst (via Martha Stewart): http://pinterest.com/pin/220324606741343467/
I used a 1/4” drill bit and drilled holes in the pumpkin, starting along the roundest part. For lighting, I used a Root Candle 20 Hour Votive (http://www.rootcandles.com/index.cfm/Unscented-Votives) inside a clear votive glass. It gives off a perfect glow for the spookiest of evenings and just a little change up from the traditional Jack-O-Lantern. Plus, it’s a pumpkin worth lighting all October long.
I want to see your pumpkin designs!!! Whether it’s the traditional Jack-O-Lantern or something really unique, show it off! Post a picture to our facebook wall and we’ll enter your name into a drawing to win a Pumpkin Goodies Gift Basket.
